Ongoing Mondays, 6:15 pm. On 1 style salsa, also known as LA salsa, is a popular style of salsa dancing that originated in Los Angeles, California. It is characterized by its linear style, meaning dancers move along a line, back and forth, as opposed to the circular motion seen in other salsa styles like Casino. Our advanced performance team dances this style.
On 1 classes are at 6:15 every Monday with a social hour after.
Casino Rueda style salsa is a Cuban based dance style, often danced in a circle. With high group participation and partner switching in the middle of the dance, we highly encourage our students to start with Casino. We also offer a student performance team in this style of salsa!

Ongoing Other. Not only do you get to learn new dance moves at our social dances, but you can meet new people from the Ocala area and make new friends with an obvious shared interest. As you learn, you will be able to take these dances to family gatherings, clubs, and anywhere else you hear music. Tropix is a tropical fusion band based in Gainesville, Florida. The band has its roots in the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico, and performs music from all over Latin America and Spain, along with American standards. The five-year-old venue is beautifully decorated with 11 crystal chandeliers, high ceilings, and ample seating. The large parking lot is lighted. This venue is truly a gem.
