Ongoing Thursdays, 7:30-10:30 pm. Gainesville Swing Dancing every Thursday evening from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM, you can find us at the Rosa B Williams Center. We kick off the night with a one-hour beginner lesson, followed by two hours of social dancing in a beautiful, air-conditioned hardwood dance hall.
We cannot wait to hit the dance floor with all of you.
No partner or experience needed.
Parking:
Free street parking is available in front of or beside the building, as well as in the nearby Friends of the Library lot.

Join GSD every Thursday for free swing dancing lessons in a beautiful, air-conditioned, historic hall with hardwood floors. No partner needed—just come ready to learn and have fun.

Though we have folding chairs and tables, GSD encourages you to bring: lawn chairs, air mattresses, blankets, pillows, sleeping bags, floor cushions, or that weird inflatable furniture you've been waiting for an excuse to use.
Bring your Favorite Snacks
This is a community movie night, so feel free to bring food, snacks, and drinks to enjoy throughout the evening. Sharing is encouraged. Witchcraft is optional.
Note from the Witches
This is a special GSD community night, so there will be no regular lessons or dance party that evening. We are taking a night off from dancing to hang out, watch a movie, and eat some snacks.
