1–4 pm Dancing
Everyone is invited to dance with us on Saturday afternoon.
Every dance will be taught — no experience required. Bring your crew or just bring you.
The All Y'All Barn Dance is a brand-new event with the goal of bringing new dancers and experienced social dancers from different Gainesville communities together in one place. For this pilot event, we'll be featuring contra dancing and urban line dancing, along with a slew of super-fun beginner-friendly barn dances.
Live Music
Florida State Fiddlers Association medalist musician Kevin Moran has put together a great old-time band for the occasion. Kevin's on fiddle, along with Vickie Frazier on banjo and Ted Strauss on guitar.
If this event succeeds (i.e., if you and all your friends come) we will pursue continuing this event as a series, and can feature a wider variety of your favorite social dances as a result.
Please note that there is not much parking at the venue itself, but there is ample street parking in the neighborhood. Carpooling is encouraged where possible. The building is gorgeous and will be a pleasure to dance in.
